Best Time To Visit: The ideal time for the Ladakh Biking Expedition is from June to September, when the Manali–Leh and Srinagar–Leh highways remain open and weather conditions are most favourable for riding. During these months, riders can enjoy pleasant daytime temperatures, clear blue skies, accessible high mountain passes, and spectacular views of the Himalayas. This is also the best season to experience the beauty of Pangong Lake, Nubra Valley, Umling La, and the iconic Himalayan roads, making it one of the most sought-after motorcycle adventures in the world.
- 🛥️Motion Sickness: Avoid spicy food, heavy meals and alcohol before travel. Drink plenty of water or carbonated beverages, nibble on ginger or sip ginger ale, and carry only doctor-prescribed medicines for motion sickness.
- 🤝Respect the Locals: We travel to create memories, but please respect the privacy of local residents. Avoid taking photographs where it is not permitted or welcomed, and always be a responsible tourist.
- 🛡️National Security: In the interest of national security, do not upload or share pictures or videos that reveal army locations, military camps, checkpoints or troop movements.
- 🧥Adequate Clothes: Carry comfortable clothing and suitable footwear for your tour. Due to airline baggage restrictions, pack wisely.
- 💊Medicines: Carry all essential medicines as per your requirements. Medical and fitness certificates should be carried if advised by your doctor.
- 🔋Electronic Devices: Carry power banks and chargers for your mobile phones, cameras and laptops. Remote destinations may experience power outages, so keeping your devices charged is recommended.
- 💳ATMs & Digital Payments: Remote destinations may have limited ATM facilities, and digital payments such as Google Pay or PhonePe may not work due to network issues. Please carry sufficient cash for your journey.
- 🌙Night Travel: Although the night sky is beautiful, travelling at night is not recommended. Roads are usually deserted and emergency assistance may not be readily available.
- 🚫Alcohol Consumption: We strongly advise avoiding alcohol during your journey. Travelling through hilly terrain already puts stress on the body, and alcohol can cause dehydration and fatigue, affecting your overall travel experience.
- ♻️Keep it Clean: Help preserve nature by disposing of waste responsibly. Beautiful destinations should remain clean and untouched. Be a responsible traveller and leave every place exactly as you found it.

- ✖️Any additional expenses incurred due to unforeseen circumstances such as landslides, roadblocks, adverse weather conditions, natural calamities, political disturbances, vehicle breakdowns, or any other force majeure events beyond our control.
- 📌This expedition is managed and operated by Mototour Ladakh.
- 📌Hotel Check-in: Standard check-in time is 12:00 Noon. Early check-in is subject to room availability.
- 📌Additional Expenses: Any extra expenses arising due to bad weather, landslides, roadblocks, transportation delays, hotel stays, meals, or any unforeseen circumstances beyond the control of the tour operator shall be borne by the guest. Neither Mototour Ladakh nor its partner hotels/service providers shall be responsible for such additional costs.
- 📌Itinerary Flexibility: The sequence of the day-wise itinerary may change depending on weather conditions, traffic regulations, road closures, permits, or other unforeseen situations without prior notice.
- 📌Leaving the Tour Midway: Any participant choosing to leave the tour before its completion will be responsible for the transportation cost of the motorcycle from the exit point to the designated tour endpoint.
- 📌Mandatory Documents: All riders must carry a valid Government-issued Photo ID and a valid Driving Licence throughout the tour.
- 📌Luggage Policy: Guests are solely responsible for the safety of their luggage. Only backpacks up to 15 kg per person are permitted. Excess baggage will be charged at ₹500 per kg.
- 📌Damage Liability: Any compensation arising from damage caused by a participant to any person, vehicle, motorcycle, or property during the tour shall be the sole responsibility of the participant.
- 📌Booking Validity: The booking amount paid is valid only for the 2026 riding season.
- 📌Cancellation on Arrival: If a participant cancels the trip after arrival, the full tour cost shall be payable and no refund will be applicable.
- 📌Minimum Group Size: A minimum of 7 riders is required to operate a departure. If the minimum group size is not met, Mototour Ladakh reserves the right to cancel the departure, in which case guests will be entitled to a full refund.
- 📌Medical Advisory: A basic first-aid kit will be available; however, guests are strongly advised to carry their own prescribed medicines and personal medical essentials.
- 📌Road Captain Instructions: The designated Road Captain will lead the group and implement all necessary safety measures. All participants are required to follow the Road Captain's instructions throughout the expedition.
- 📌Emergency Assistance: In case a rider feels unwell or is unable to continue riding, they may travel in the backup vehicle, while the accompanying mechanic will safely ride the motorcycle.
