Best Time To Visit: The best time to visit Gir is from October to May, with November to February offering pleasant weather for safaris and sightseeing. March to May can be warmer but may offer rewarding wildlife sightings near water sources. The park generally remains closed for regular safari operations during the monsoon season from June to September.
- 🛥️Motion Sickness: Avoid spicy food, heavy meals and alcohol before travel. Drink plenty of water or carbonated beverages, nibble on ginger or sip ginger ale, and carry only doctor-prescribed medicines for motion sickness.
